Modern life can make it difficult to build healthy habits, meaningful relationships and maintain a sense of belonging.
Community at Third Space explores how thoughtful spaces, lifelong learning and small everyday actions can help people and communities thrive.
Through curiosity, conversation, and shared experiences, we’re exploring what’s possible.
We are a group of friends and family with busy lives.
Work, school, kids, aging parents, and long drives… Somewhere along the way, it became difficult.
When we find time, our choices feel limited; restaurants need you to leave, coffee shops are often crowded or small, parks leave you exposed to weather and limited amenities and gathering at home usually means that someone has to host.
We asked…
What if there were a place intentionally designed for everyday life.
A place where we could walk, learn, share a meal, play, socialize or simply exist without pressure to perform.
A place that makes healthy choices feel natural and where being present or gathering with friends feels like a restorative activity.
Communities around the world are already implementing pieces of the puzzle. We want to learn from those places and bring their best ideas together to create something new for our community, Las Vegas.
We don’t have all the answers, we’re simply curious enough to begin.
How it started
This is one of our favorite recent memories and we transformed it into an illustration to capture the spirit of our group while respecting everyone’s privacy.
